Oracle Integration

Over five years of Oracle "Quote-to-cash development including projects at Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Juniper Networks, Lucent Technologies and Octel Communications.
Architectural design for Oracle 11i ERP system in a UNIX environment utilizing Oracles’ EC Gateway as the canonical model for the conduit of inbound orders, invoices and PO acknowledgments. Successfully implemented orders and invoices with strategic client; and unit tested outbound acknowledgements. Creation of business requirements spec, mapping specs for 3rd party translation based upon Oracle extensions, and created guidelines

Distribution/3PL Integration/Logistics

Worked on a number of 3rd Party logistics (3PL) organization implementations for automotive and hardware.
Designed UN/EDIFACT INVRPT for inventory reconciliation. Resolved issues for EDIFACT messages and intranet object/events using ORDERS, INVRPT, and PRICAT during an implementation with 3rd party warehouse/distribution agents in Scotland and Fremont, California.
Resolved a serious cash reconciliation problem with a strategic automotive customer by designing and utilizing the Warehouse Shipment Transaction (ANSI X12 945) from the 3rd party warehouse for the book/billing process instead of the customer’s receipt message. This drastically reduced the need for 2 analysts to reconcile cash application, and "cash due over 90 days dropped from 37% to less than 2%. The project received the Regional Quality Award in the Philips QIT process and was presented at the America's Headquarters competition. Comments from the Strategic Account Manager: "It is hard to overstate the significance of these improvements. It has saved resources for both our selves and our customers. Reducing errors relieves frustration for both us and our customers. This success enables us to offer our customers a world class service in logistics programs."
At iLogistics, a 3rd Party Logistics Organization we analyzed SAP IDOC structures, mapped, tested, and coordinated with strategic trading partner. The customer required drop-shipment capabilities, with some unique requirements. Mapped and implemented in 6 weeks the following transactions: Purchase Orders (850), Forecast (830), Forecast Response (830R), Invoice (810), Advanced Shipment Notice (856), and Order Status (870). Order Fulfillment

We offer e-SupplyLinks suite of product for integrated order fulfillment.

We combine Electronic Commerce’s integration expertise with the ComplyLink products.
ComplyLink provides you with the tools necessary to meet the demands of accurately labeling, scanning, recording and shipping products to their customers. ComplyLink's return on investment is quickly realized when redundant entries are eliminated, and Suppliers are no longer fined for inaccurate shipping and reporting. ComplyLink uses individual "ASN Kits" to define business rules- shipment labeling, electronic commerce requirements, etc. for each major retail customer, taking the guesswork out of compliance and allowing Suppliers to focus on fulfillment.
ComplyLink runs on either a Windows Platform or open-sourced Java which supports any computer linked to your systems server with the ComplyLink software.

POS/Inventory Management

Implemented or augmented a number of Channel Marketing Programs with Point-of-Sale and Inventory including Philips Semiconductors, AMD, Juniper Networks, Sun Microsystems and Cisco . POS systems are utilized for revenue recognition, strategic marketing programs, sales force commissions and simplification of the order management process. Usually, not all the distributors are on EDI, so the design must also accommodate flat file submissions from the non-EDI partners.

Financial Transactions

Performed technical design/analysis, and addressed EDI issues for the following documents Lockbox (823) at Sun Microsystem.
Initiated European electronic invoicing and cash application initiative in Amsterdam at at major communications equipment supplier’s European Headquarters by analysis, development of guidelines and initiation of discussions with strategic customers. Transactions: UN/EDIFACT INVOIC and REMADV. (Cisco).
Implemented EDI invoicing at a number of major high tech companies.
Designed a Cash Application process for a large gaming client so that large inbound remittance transactions (820) from major retailers could be automatically booked in minutes instead of a two week manual reconciliation effort by Accounts Receivable every time they received a check. Won approval by the internal audit team as it was coordinated with the receipt of cash per the lockbox report (823).

CRM

Designed POS (867/SLSRPT) transactions to incorporate Request for Quote data in Point-of-Sale transactions and eliminating the need for a separate Request for Quote transaction. One transaction would feed into both the Point of Sale Transaction and the Request for Quote. This was done within SAP CRM.
Work on making changes on Goldmine for EDI partner tracking and data for EDI messages.
