EDI Integration SolutionsTop of the page

We can offer you a variety of EDI and XML integration solutions depending on your situation and budget.

If you are new to EDI, or have a new business process you need to implement, we usually start with a business BluePrint.

This consists of 6 steps:

  • Interviews with Key internal management or resources to understand the scope of the requirements
  • Review of Guidelines or specs from trading partner requesting an EDI implementation.
  • Discussion as whether you wish to outsource your mapping or purchase and control the mapping and data processing in-house.
  • Send a questionnaire to your trading partners to better understand which transactions they are targeting, what standard (EDI X12, or UN/EDIFACT, RosettaNet, OAGi, OASIS, or any number of XML standards), their version, and their current capability. We have a template already created that is simple, but complete.
  • Internal review of recommended processes for your architecture, and any customization work.
  • Evaluation of resources for support of all phases of the testing, custom programming (if necessary), and configuration of your ERP system.

We have partnered with Softshare to provide US or European-based outsourcing (onsourcing) solutions. We will work with you to integrate the EDI messages into your financial system, or design a temporary "rip & read" process so you may move into production quickly. You have the benefit of working in the same time zones of your business days. Costs are competitive to outsourcing offshore due to years of implementation expertise, professionalism, and a low cost mapping solution.

If you firm wishes to consider several solution providers, we know the key players and using our unique processes we can interview your required number of firms. We understand some of the hidden costs, industry reputations, and can help guide you in designing a successful program with your provider.

We are also the inventor of the "EDI Outsourcing Exit Strategy". This addresses how you can design your outsourcing program so if you decide to later move to another provider, or move to an in-house solution, your IP is protected and the impact AND COST of the transition is minimized.

We have written RFQ’s, and can help you structure your RFQ so that nearly all of the technical and procedural questions can be addressed before the contract is signed.

We understand that youhave a variety of business models, internal requirements, and business processes that must be incorporated in the implementation. We can translate these requirements into the standards and create the guidelines to effectively communicate them with your customers and suppliers.
